Anita Jackson - Terms and Conditions

This service provides private wellbeing counselling on an hourly basis. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms.

1. Appointments

Sessions last 60 minutes. Payment as agreed prior to session is due at the time of the session unless otherwise agreed. If a session runs over time, the additional time may be charged pro rata at the same hourly rate.

2. Cancellations, rearrangements and lateness

Please give one week’s notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full unless both can rearrange in the same week, I understand unexpected difficulties can arise. If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time and the full fee will remain payable.

3. Contact between sessions

Contact between sessions is for administrative matters only, unless otherwise agreed. Messages will be responded to as soon as reasonably possible during working hours.

4. Confidentiality

What you share in sessions is treated as confidential. Confidentiality may only be broken where required by law, where there is serious risk of harm, or where safeguarding concerns arise. Where possible, you will be informed first.

5. Not for emergencies

This service is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or need urgent support, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. You can also contact NHS 111 or a local crisis service.

6. Records and privacy

Brief confidential notes may be kept for professional and legal reasons. These records will be stored securely and handled in line with data protection law.

7. Ending therapy

Either you or myself may end the work at any time, with reasonable notice where possible. A final session may be offered if appropriate.

8. Acceptance

By attending sessions, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.
